Van Wettens Lowbed Service was launched in 1984 with the purchase of two lowbeds. In 1985 the operation was expanded to the Middelburg area with the purchase of further units. Today Van Wettens fleet operates throughout the sub-continent.
Vehicles are based at three of the branches (Ermelo, Middelburg and Nelspruit).
Prompt, efficient service is offered by the co-ordination of all loads and vehicles from the base branches. A gradual policy of vehicle selection and replacement has resulted in Van Wettens Lowbeds being capable of handling any sort of load up to 105ton. Van Wettens transport equipment for the Mining, Forestry, Farming and Industrial sectors.
